Of course it shouldn’t be too difficult to determine the one word that Bronson wrote – is there really any question?
Yes, Soapies was named by Bronson the gnome. And thankfully so. Can you imagine visiting the Kelley’s Flowering Elixir Soap Creations and Other Fineries Fit For Civilized Peoples and Royalty website? One can only imagine how many people would be lost attempting to type that into the address bar of their browsers. What a utter disaster that would be… assuming she was even around now after attempting to go into business with that particular name.
With the name firmly fixed, Kelley set out to create a logo. After several days (oh yes, she was still in the dungeon. Erm, cellar. Her father hadn’t yet returned from “town” and Grismelda, after suffering a brief attack of barely-alive conscience, proceeded to put Kelley out of her mind for good and apart from opening the door every few days to ascertain that Kelley was still alive, spent her time assuaging away the guilt by sipping (gulping) dandelion wine with the neighbor and playing checkers.)… she was no closer to creating the masterpiece than she was at the beginning.
For the first time, she actually wished that Bronson would appear… and with a POOF! there he was.
Oops, out of time this week! Tune in next week for more Soapies History!
